A new design for the winner’s trophy of the ideas competition in Schleswig-Holstein:
In the context of a competition I designed a new trophy which contained its own innovative useful idea and characterised the know-how of the winner project. With a folding technique and balanced form, the trophy can be easily folded and save space in your trouser pocket (to get a hand free for a congratulatory handshake, a glass of sparkling wine or…). The combination of a technical gear and a symbolic sail for the Nordic image and the sea picks up the award of the competition. The Muthesius Transferpark awarded my design, bought the licence and allowed me to make the cup equal to 6 times in their home colour, cyan. Made of two-component, through-dyed casting resin in graduated covering powers of colour, clearly recognisable for the first, second and third place.
